Hollywood has been shaken by yet another loss of a talented star. Helen McCrory is known for her credible performances in Harry Potter.
The news of demise was shared by her husband Damian Lewis on 16th April, Friday. Damian confirmed the news of her wife’s death on social media.
Damian tweeted,”I’m heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family.She died as she lived. Fearlessly.God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you.”
Helen was famous for playing Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter series. She also built a huge fan base for her role as Polly Gray in Peaky Blinders. She has also made appearances in The Queen and The Count Of Monte Cristo.
Helen’s love life was free from any hassle and controversy. She married her love, Damian Lewis in 2007. Their relationship began in 2003, when they were cast in the play Five Gold Rings. She shared a happy married bond with her husband and is mother to a daughter Manon,14 and son Gulliver, 13.
Her most recent appearance was when she appeared on Good Morning Britain last month. Helen McCrory was their to create awareness about her charity work, the Prince’s Trust. Also, Helen had also opened up about her experience in the Pandemic in a candid interview.
Helen is mourned by fellow Celebrities and friends. Famous author J.K.Rowling wrote , I’m devastated to learn of the death of Helen McCrory, an extraordinary actress and a wonderful woman who’s left us far too soon.

The creator of Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight wrote, “Helen was one of the great actors of her generation. She was so powerful and controlled and this is so sad.”.
Helen’s co-star Cilian Murphy paid tribute to the Actress and added he was “broken-hearted to lose such a dear friend”, describing her as “a beautiful, caring, funny, compassionate human being”.
“She was also a gifted actor – fearless and magnificent. She elevated and made humane every scene, every character she played,” he said, adding it was “a privilege to have worked with this brilliant woman… I will dearly miss my pal”.
